This is not another how to write
a grant proposal book. Unlike
existing books, "Getting Grants"
argues that no matter the type
of organization, there is a direct
relationship between the
organizations internal proposal
development process and how
successful the organization is at
securing grant funding.
Getting Grants Manual

    sources of funding
  • The pre-proposal planning
    and development stage

The 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was passed by Congress
and signed into law by President Barack Obama on February 17, 2009.
Otherwise known as the "Stimulus Bill," this comprehensive piece of legislation
contains $787.2 billion in targeted tax cuts and priority investments.  Much of
the funding will be given out in the form of formula and competitive grants.  I've
taken the time to pull out key funding areas from the 450+ page bill and will
release this information in a series of articles.
